Hiring platform engineers is a narrow market. Go, Kubernetes API Machinery, and controller development are rare skills, and the shortage of those profiles is the first thing that limits how fast a platform can be built. She sources against that scarcity directly rather than against a job description, and builds the employer brand that makes the approach land.
She came to it from eight years in insurance operations, four of them managing a team: risk assessment, claims, regulatory compliance, and the operational discipline that comes with all three. It is an unusual route into technical recruitment, and it is why the commercial and delivery sides of an engagement stay joined up.
