Privacy policy
Last updated:
Edixos takes the protection of personal data seriously. This policy describes, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the guidelines of the French data-protection authority (CNIL), the processing carried out through edixos.com, its purpose, its legal basis, and the rights available to you.
Data controller
The data controller is Edixos, SASU (SIREN 921 321 600), with its registered office at 17 boulevard Charles de Gaulle, 95110 Sannois, France. For any question about your data, write to hello@edixos.com.
Data minimization
We apply strict data minimization: we collect only the information needed for a defined purpose, keep it for a limited time, and never sell it. This is a corporate site with no user accounts, no advertising profiling, and no data resale.
Data collected and purposes
- Contact data: the details you send us through the contact form or by email, processed solely to answer your request. Legal basis: your initiative and our legitimate interest in responding.
- Strictly necessary cookies: required for the site to function and stay secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest; no consent required.
- Audience measurement: anonymous usage statistics, collected only after your consent and off by default. Legal basis: your consent.
Cookies and audience measurement
No analytics or tracking cookie is set until you have expressed a choice. On your first visit a consent banner appears, where accepting and refusing are equally easy, and audience measurement stays off by default, in line with the CNIL guidelines.
When, and only when, you consent, we enable Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Limited) for anonymous audience measurement: number of visits, pages viewed, device type, and referral source, used to improve the site. Google Consent Mode stays set to "denied" by default, IP anonymization is enabled, and the script loads only after you accept.
In that case, the following cookies may be set:
- _ga
- Distinguishes visitors anonymously. Lifetime: up to 13 months.
- _ga_<ID>
- Persists session state for Google Analytics 4. Lifetime: up to 13 months.
Audience data is retained by Google for a maximum of 14 months, then aggregated or deleted. No data is used for advertising or combined with other processing.
Withdrawing or changing your consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time, with the same ease it took to give
it. To bring the banner back and review your choice, clear the
edixos-cookie-consent entry in your browser's local storage;
audience measurement is then immediately suspended until you decide again.
Recipients and transfers
Contact data is processed by Edixos. Audience-measurement data, when enabled, is processed by Google as a sub-processor, which may involve a transfer outside the European Union governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to withdraw consent and to lodge a complaint with the CNIL. To exercise these rights, write to hello@edixos.com.
The cookie and consent behaviour described above reflects the site's actual implementation: audience measurement is strictly conditional on your prior agreement.
